Creating Beautiful Smiles for
Over 30 years in Northern New York!

Meet Dr. Kellie A. Sanzone

My profession is exciting, rewarding, and stimulating. I enjoy all the different personalities of my patients and enjoy getting to know them as they go through treatment. I love hearing about their lives, goals, and accomplishments, and of course seeing their smiles as they finish treatment. I am now treating many children of former patients!

I have been practicing orthodontics for 26 years. It is so rewarding to improve the quality of life of others, and I enjoy working one-on-one with patients. I love what I do and am proud of the effect I have on the quality of life for so many people!

Education and Continuing Education

  • Bachelor of Science – Albany College of Pharmacy
  • Doctorate of Dental Surgery, magna cum laude – University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine
  • Certificate in orthodontics – University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Dental School

I am passionate about the advances in orthodontics that I have incorporated into my practice to get better and quicker results. I attend continuing education seminars in all the latest technologies every year, usually obtaining more than double the hours required by state law for continuing education. This benefits my patients since we use up-to-date, efficient, proven treatments that make the orthodontic experience more comfortable for my patients.

Professional Affiliations

In the Office

My team is very special to me. My certified dental assistants have been with me a combined total of more than 47 years! My receptionist has been with me for 21 years and my other support staff have been with me for a minimum of six years. Obviously, we enjoy working with each other and making our practice successful. I get some of my best ideas from my staff! We have taken many trips together to continuing education meetings all over the country. What’s unique about my staff is that they all live in and are raising or have raised their families in our community, so we personally know a lot of the patients and families that we treat.

Family and Community

I am a native of Watertown, New York, and love serving the people of my hometown! In fact, I only live a mile away from my practice! My husband is director of pharmacy at the local hospital, and we have three children. Jillian is in a doctoral program in chemistry at New York University, Morgan is in her final year in business at Northeastern University and hopes to become a certified public accountant, and Will will graduate from high school in 2015 and hopes to go to college out west where he can also ski. When I’m not working, you’ll find me outside either cycling, running, playing tennis, or skiing.

I believe in helping out in the community to give back, since the community has been such a wonderful support to my practice for so many years. I am passionate about making our community a better place. I am a big supporter of the local Y and the Watertown Urban Mission.
